Cast Iron Frying Pan

A complete cast iron frying pan kit, ideal for camping or home use. Made of heavy-duty quality cast iron and each frying pan features a pouring spout.

Before Use

The cast iron comes ready to use, wipe with a damp cloth before using. Do not wash, rinse or scrub cast iron, this will start the breakdown of the seasoning (coating).

After Use

Cast iron is not designed to be “washed” like normal pots and pans but should be wiped out as soon as you are finished cooking or if it is cool enough to touch. Wipe with a paper towel and then re-oil before storing.

If you have baked on grime, using a course granulated salt with a small amount of water and a scourer may help, then dry completely by adding back to a heat source or dry with a tea towel and re-oil before storing. If you add water to your cast iron it must be dried straight away and be completely dry before storing, do not let it drain and dry on its own.

If you need to scrub or clean your cast iron with water and a detergent, chances are you may need to re-season before using it again.

Do not soak cast iron and do not let water sit on or in cast iron

Do not put cast iron in a dishwasher

Do not use steel wool or a harshly abrasive scrubber
